At Sigh Stories, your privacy matters. We collect information you choose to share through our newsletter or contact forms, use a first-party cookie for monthly site statistics, and store a browser push subscription only if you opt in.

Newsletter email addresses are used for story updates and site announcements. If you enable browser push notifications, the browser's push endpoint and encryption keys are stored to deliver notifications through your browser's push service. You can turn push notifications off using the same control on this site or in your browser settings.

We do not sell personal information. Push messages are delivered through the push service provided by your browser or device platform.

We use a first-party cookie with a randomly generated identifier to count monthly browsers and story and chapter opens. Analytics records keep a one-way hash of that identifier for monthly totals, not the cookie value, IP address, or browser details. The cookie expires after one year, and analytics hashes and daily totals are retained for about 12 months. These counts are not linked to newsletter addresses or used to track you across other sites.
